Kevin T. Case, a martial arts practitioner since the age of
13 in 1974, has studied various disciplines such as Yoshinkan Aikido and
Okinawan Goju Ryu before discovering his passion for Tang Soo Do. It was in
this martial art that he earned his 1st degree Black Belt in 1985. He also
earned a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo in 1988, all while continuing to
study Tang Soo Do.
In 1988, KJN Case took his skills to Italy, where he taught
martial arts to students from different parts of the world. He remained in Italy
for four years, leaving behind an impact on the local martial arts scene.
Eventually, in 1992, KJN Case returned to the United States and established the
Jacksonville Tang Soo Do Academy in Florida, where he trained many students to
advanced black belt degrees.
KJN Case’s passion for martial arts led him to establish the
United Tang Soo Do Association in 2006, where he now holds an 8th degree Black
Belt in Tang Soo Do. Apart from his exceptional martial arts skills, he is also
an expert in personal development and Black Belt Leadership having trained and promoted
over 150 Black Belts. His dedication to the UTSDA’s master instructors is
evident through his personal supervision of their training.
KJN Case attributes his martial arts knowledge and
traditional training to the exceptional guidance of his instructors, which
include Yukio Utada Sensei (Aikido), Hanshi Anthony Lingo (Okinawan Goju-Ryu),
Master Gregory Cann (Taekwondo). In Tang Soo Do, Master Lester Ricks, Master
Barbara Giacobbe, Grandmaster D.A. Giacobbe, and the late Grandmaster Jae Chul
